The ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System is designed to assist companies in developing, implementing and maintaining an effective environmental management system.

Hardware Specialty Co., Inc. is committed to the preservation, success and quality of our company, to continual improvement and to the prevention of pollution and providing a safe work environment. We will comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements to which our organization subscribes relative to the nature and scale of the environment aspects our business activities impacts.

We have identified significant aspects of cardboard and paper which we feel can have a negative impact on the environment as well as other aspects relative to the nature of our business.

We have successfully implemented the program in our Blackwood, NJ facility and encourage all of our suppliers to start taking steps towards responsible environmental control of all processes within their manufacturing facilities and to promote and challenge others to follow their example.

It is our hope that this clearly demonstrates our firm commitment to developing and maintaining an effective environmental management system, which covers issues ranging from identifying and minimizing risks to the environment across our operations, to continuously improving our environmental performance.
